We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. I wanted to try and reflect an alternate world where he somehow got free of slavery before he was hardened into what we know and love him to be.
And as most of us when we were teenagers.. we wanted to look cool, but really, internally we had our doubts about our direction.
