Did a quick test to see how this looked if i dropped some color and kept all the grays from my markers !

Hmmnn... yeah .. i think i should try to work tighter in on it.. and work on blocking out more shapes.. you know i was pretty tired by the time i was done here.. hey waitaminute... DUDE , go to Sleep ! =P

Cute! In fact, if a comic would come out with this exact effect (And I mean with the construction lines and all; exactly like this), I'd buy it right now.

Maybe it's not a good comparaison, but when «Hero bear and the kid» came out some years ago, the «well-done» sketchy look made me buy it!
